Looking for a much smaller wedding? Or fancy an elopement somewhere just the two of you? Sometimes a big huge wedding is just not for you and a smaller more intimate wedding is right up your street. That doesn’t mean you can’t have some wonderful photos to celebrate your special day. That is why I offer Gloucestershire Micro Weddings and Elopements in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

What is a micro wedding vs an elopement?

After the dreaded pandemic, the micro wedding has become ever more popular with couples and photographers! Trust me when I say these are just as special as full day weddings.

More and more couples opt for a micro wedding for a variety of reasons. Typically a micro wedding describes a wedding of around 15-30 guests where most events like the wedding breakfast and speeches still happen like in a full day wedding. Some couples choose to have a party but not always – it is up to you.

An elopement wedding is usually just the two of you and whoever is there marrying you. Lots of couples choose to travel abroad or a fair distance for an elopement. Some up a mountain but others just down to the registry office – ultimately it is totally up to you. Traditionally it was used to described a couple rushing off to quickly get married but you can spend as little or much time planning your elopement.

With each of our Gloucestershire Micro Wedding and Elopement collections we will have a pre wedding meeting. Here we can talk all about your plans for the day and discuss what photos you would like covered.

Your photos are all delivered in an online gallery where you can download, like and share you photos with your friends and family.

All collections include coverage of your ceremony and time for a some photos after. The Ivy collections is perfect to cover some time with your guests both before and after your ceremony. The Poppy collection is great if you want some prep time coverage or speeches after your drinks reception.

The Tulip and Ivy collections include travel within 40 miles of Stroud. That doesn’t mean I can’t help you elsewhere. Simply fill out our contact form below and let me know where you are planning your wedding and I can get an accurate price for you.

These collections are weekdays only during April-September as full day weddings take priority during the main wedding season. However if you are planning a last minute wedding please do get in touch as we may have available on weekends for you.

Albums

Juts because you are planning a smaller wedding doesn’t mean you can’t have an album after! Some couples worry they won’t have enough photos to fill the album but you will and they will be just as special.

MICRO WEDDINGS AND ELOPEMENTS FAQs

When do I get my photos?

I aim to send you your final album 4-6 weeks after your wedding. If this was to change during busy periods I would keep you informed. I always send you through a first look album straight after your wedding containing about 5-15 photos from throughout your day. This is usually sent within 24 hours but again may vary depending on how busy I am at other couples’ weddings.

How many photos do I get?

Typically for a Micro Wedding or Elopement you will receive 200+ photos. Both in a colour and a selection in black and white.

Do you edit the images?

Yes I edit the photos. The process of editing essentially involves making an appropriate artistic judgement on each photo for a cohesive collection. With minor adjustments to the exposure and crop or a conversion to black and white, for example. After this process you’ll receive perfectly-crafted digital images that reflect your beautiful day and you as a couple. However, if you want certain photos photoshopped in any I can offer this service (depending on the request) for an additional fee.

How far will you travel?

As far as you need! I am based in Gloucestershire so any micro weddings and elopements within my 40 mile radius includes free travel.

Can I buy an album?

Yes! I offer a selection of different albums. You can pre order one before your wedding day or come back to me after. They really are a very special touch after your wedding.
