Not far from the lovely town of Stroud, Stonehouse Court is an ideal venue if you have lots of guests travelling to your wedding. Just off junction 13 on the M5 Stonehouse Court is not only easy to access but also has loads of rooms for guests to stay. This brilliant manor house sits in approximately 6 acres of private land with stunning views of the Stroud Valleys and canal. If you like history then check out their website for a lovely read on the history of this beautiful manor house.
One of the best features, in my opinion, is the access out the back of the hotel to the canal. It is the perfect spot for those special couples portraits, anytime of year and sunset is perfect! In spring/summer time there are patches of wildflowers all along the canal front and wall of the hotel. A personal favourite of mine is definitely the willow tree by the edge of the canal. In the summer, it is stunning with beautiful long green leaves. In autumn and winter, it is still as gorgeous and a lovely spot to revisit in all the seasons.
With a whole private garden for your Stonehouse Court wedding you can choose whether to get married inside or outside at this lovely venue. Bags of space for those group shots and garden games.
I have had the pleasure of not only photographing Stonehouse Court weddings but also post wedding photoshoots and maternity shoots.
