Sophia and Callum had the best Bristol Harbour Hotel wedding. It was a long time coming with their previous venue closing down but it was clearly meant to be! The morning started with Sophia and Callum both choosing to get ready at the hotel (literally in rooms next to each other). The weather wasn’t really on our side that day but that didn’t stop us at all!
They had their ceremony in the main room and it was stunning. Their emerald green and burgundy colour scheme looked absolutely stunning in the room and the bridesmaids gorgeous. The hotel were fantastic and let us throw the confetti inside due to the rain and they cleared it all up after. They then got to work flipping the room for the wedding breakfast.
The centrepieces and styling was all done by Sophia and Callum. They really thought about all the little touches on the tables and how to entertain their guests. The speeches were after food and they all certainly knew how to make everyone laugh and cry at the same time!
We had originally planned to have some beautiful portraits in the grounds of their previous venue with lush greens and plants everywhere but that changed when it all got moved to Bristol. On their engagement shoot we met at the hotel to find some nice urban locations for their portraits and wedding party photos. There is a lovely market area right next to the hotel and it was completely empty on the day they got married. It also had a roof so was perfect as it was pouring with rain. we took the wedding party out with us and they did not disappoint and got right into it with dancing and posing in the street.
The dancefloor was just as epic. This lot knew how to party! Confetti canons, wedding sunglasses and shots just to name a few things from the evening.
