Bowden Hall is a lovely Georgian Wedding venue set in the beautiful Cotswold Countryside. Brad and Nicci decided upon this beautiful spot to be their wedding venue. As part of their Wedding venue visit we decided it would also be the perfect location for their Engagement shoot.
Brad and Nicci were planning their wedding in the middle of a pandemic hoping that restrictions would ease before their big day. We were incredibly lucky because they did by their wedding day! Yay! As restrictions eased off a bit we decided to jump at the chance to bring some joy and have their engagement shoot just shy of a year before their big day. So with permission from the venue we had a lovely morning wandering the grounds on their shoot.
It turned out to be a rather cold and wet day in the middle of December but that didn’t stop them. We had a lovely walk around the grounds picking out photo spots for their big day and trying out different poses they felt most comfortable with. This venue has lovely grounds to walk around with the lake at the bottom. We even had time for some lovely family photos together with Nicci’s daughter which was a lovely touch for the day.
By the end of the shoot not only did we have lots of lovely photos but we were all buzzing with excitement for their big day. It was very much needed after all the restrictions and COVID drama. On their wedding day we went back down to the trees for some fun night time shots with sparklers too! More on their Wedding day in my portfolio.
