August 2022 was the turn of the lovely Jess and Chris to tie the knot at their beautiful Kingscote Barn Wedding. The day was absolutely beautiful and the sun was shining all day. Both Jess and Chris chose to get ready at the Barn. Jess in the famous dressing room perfect for every bride’s Kingscote Barn Wedding.
Chris and Jess chose to have their ceremony inside the beautiful Kingscote Barn rather than an outside ceremony. Although the weather was stunning on their day you never know with this country and so inside is sometimes the safer plan. It was a lovely ceremony with lots of happy tears all round the room. Their lovely daughter was also involved during the ceremony which made it even more special.
The barn was stunning with flowers along the beautiful wooden balcony and at the sides. Jess had chosen a lovely pale blue colour to go with their theme of Jersey (a special place to them both). The team at Kingscote Barn were fantastic and really brought Jess’s vision to life with the reception area. Each table was named after a region of Jersey and beautiful decorated by Jess herself.
Kingscote Barn has some of the most beautiful grounds and views in the Cotswolds. The view from the lawn area makes the perfect backdrop for those all important and wanted group photos. We went off for some couples portraits in their little rose garden area just to the side of the main barn.
After the wedding breakfast it was nearly time for Golden hour and the best place for this at Kingscote Barn is up the driveway. Sounds weird I know but the Barn is actually sat down in a little valley. Chris and Jess decided on a little walk up to the top of the driveway and we are all so glad they did! The light was perfect! Jess was keen to go to the famous Kingscote Barn Treehouse so whilst we popped in there one of their guests brought their lovely daughter up in a car for some family shots too.
