Bowden Hall is a lovely Georgian Wedding venue set in the beautiful Cotswold Countryside in a little village called Upton St Leonards in Gloucestershire. Brad and Nicci decided upon this beautiful spot to be their wedding venue. Therefore, Brad and Nicci felt like a Bowden Hall Engagement shoot worked perfectly for their day.
Brad and Nicci were planning their wedding in the middle of a pandemic hoping that restrictions would ease before their big day. We were incredibly lucky because they did by their wedding day the following October! Yay!
As restrictions eased off a bit we decided to jump at the chance to bring some joy and have their engagement shoot just shy of a year before their big day. So with permission from the venue we had a lovely morning wandering the grounds on their Bowden Hall Engagement shoot.
It turned out to be a rather cold and wet day in the middle of December but that didn’t stop them. We had a lovely walk around the grounds picking out photo spots for their big day and trying out different poses they felt most comfortable with. Bowden Hall has lovely grounds with trees all around and with the lake at the bottom.
Nicci’s daughter also joined us for the shoot so we could capture some lovely family photos of their new family. The decided they all wanted to wear special bobble hats together for some fun family shots.
By the end of the shoot not only did we have lots of lovely photos of the three of them but we were all buzzing with excitement for their big day. It was very much needed after all the restrictions and COVID drama. On their wedding day we went back down to the trees for some fun night time shots with sparklers too!
