August 2022, was the time for Aimee and Alex’s Stanton Manor Hotel wedding in Wiltshire. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and everyone was getting excited for the day’s events. They were having their special day at the lovely Stanton Manor Hotel in Chippenham.
Aimee and Alex chose to book a second photographer for the day so I had the wonderful Zara with me from Zara Davis Photography with me. To find out more reasons why you should book a second photographer check out our blog post on it!
As the weather was so lovely Alex and Aimee chose to have their ceremony outside and had hired a stunning flower arch. Their little boy Leo walked Aimee down the aisle and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! He was even their ring security and was brilliant at looking after the rings.
The styling was perfect for this venue and Alex and Aimee had thought about all the details of the décor. A real special touch was a ladder of lovely photographs of people who couldn’t be there. Such a special touch and beautiful. They chose to compliment the already green drapes of the marquee with more sage green details and gifts for any children at the wedding.
We were incredibly lucky with the light on this day and the golden hour we got was stunning! We quickly snuck off whilst the venue staff were getting ready for speeches. At the back of the garden area at Stanton Manor is a lovely secret sort of garden. Alex and Aimee were brilliant and ran right into the long grass for some portraits together.
