"We booked Sophie as our photographer to capture our April wedding at Elmhay Park in Somerset. From the very beginning Sophie was an absolute treat to work with, and our photos have come out looking incredible.
The engagement shoot wasn't something either of us would have planned to do, but we're so glad we did it. I (the bride) was quite nervous about having my picture taken due to body image issues and general insecurities, so it was so valuable to have a practice run with Sophie. She made us feel completely at ease, and helped us get used to being in front of the camera.
We booked a second photographer for the wedding, which was such a good decision as it meant we got photos of more of our guests, and managed to capture both of us getting ready.
Sophie dealt well with last minute changes, taking everything in her stride. She really took away any stress as we knew she'd be able to deal with anything that went wrong.
On the day, the photos all went really well. It feels bad to say, but aside from when we were doing portraits and group shots, we barely noticed Sophie or her assistant Keiran - she just blended into the group and captured the day as we experienced it, which was absolutely perfect. We received a gorgeous mixture of candid and posed photos, and Sophie really managed to capture the joy and the atmosphere of the day. Since receiving the photos, we haven't been able to stop looking at them.
