Connor and Emily chose to have their wedding at the gorgeous and beautiful Coombe Lodge just outside Bristol. Connor and Emily both chose to get ready at Coombe Lodge the morning of their wedding which made for a lovely relaxed vibe all morning. Emily and her girls had a first look using the impressive mirror – the perfect spot for a photo of the dress too! Scroll down to see Emily’s Mum’s reaction too.
There are a few lovely areas at Coombe Lodge where you can have your ceremony. One being outside facing the Lodge. Emily and Connor chose to switch things up a little and turn the wedding all around so everyone was facing the trees with the Lodge in the background. To say I am a fan is an understatement. It looked amazing and everyone could see Connor and Emily beautifully as they were on the steps under the trees. The team at Coombe Lodge were amazing and nothing is too much or difficult for them.
Connor and Emily absolutely smashed their couples portraits. The main reason being so is that they were 100% themselves and just had fun with each other. The ground of Coombe Lodge also offer multiple different locations for the backdrop of any shot. We went on a walk round the grounds utilising the walled garden surrounded by stunning flowers, the bridal prep room complete with bath tub and of course the greenhouse.
As the sun began to set it was time for the full on partying to begin. We kicked off the fun with taking the wedding party off for some fun photos all together.
Connor and Emily wanted to make things a little different and decided to have this first dance outside. The DJs were amazing and turned the speakers round in the main room to fill outside. The team at Coombe Lodge also brought the amazing cake outside for cake cut.

No matter where you decide to get married I would always high recommend to visit before to check out areas for outside photos. At Coombe Lodge you are spoilt for choice with locations. Their walled garden, Greenhouse and outside terrace area are perfect spots.
Have a think about having your first dance outside – You won’t regret it. If you want to add sparklers along with it why not?!
Don’t be afraid to talk to your venue about outside ceremony options. The amazing team at Coombe Lodge worked with Connor and Emily to make sure they had the outside ceremony they always wanted.
