In August 2022, it was the turn of the lovely Lay and Rich to tie the knot at their Wick Farm Bath Wedding. The sun was shining and there were smiles all round with excitement building for the day ahead. Lay and her wonderful bridesmaids were getting ready in the Bridal suite and even making the cake! Yes that’s right they were decorating the beautiful cake they had baked a few days before. They were also all doing their own hair and make up that morning – they all looked absolutely stunning!
Rich and his groomsmen were all suited up and ready for the ceremony with the help of the lovely Sarah who was not only a bridesmaid that day but also their wedding planner and coordinator from SLC Events.
Time had flown by in the morning and before we knew it we were getting ready to walk down the aisle. Lay was so excited and laughing all the way to the corner of the aisle before walking down with her Dad. Rich was a little nervously waiting at the end of the aisle in the rather warm sunshine by this point.
The minute Lay and Rich saw each other the tears began streaming all around. The love and happiness of that moment was clear to see. They chose to have their ceremony outside in the glorious sunshine. The beautiful arches lining the aisle make the best entrance for the bride and her bridal party. After a beautiful ceremony it was straight into the confetti and drinks reception.
After a few canapes and chatting with guests, Lay and Rich decided they wanted to nip off for some couples portraits. We had a lovely wander round to the front of the barn. The driveway is a picture perfect spot along with the old swing in the smaller barn. A few weeks before we had had their engagement shoot and took the time to play around with some poses as Rich had been a little nervous. They smashed both the shoot and their wedding and enjoyed both too.
Lay and Rich had hired the absolutely amazing Sarah from SLC events to help plan their wedding. When I say she is amazing I am not joking! Her attention to detail is outstanding and her creativity is beautiful. She offers full or partial planning along with on the day coordination. She was so professional all day and someone I would highly recommend hiring for your wedding.
In the run up to their wedding I had coordinated with Sarah about the running of the day and the other suppliers. This meant Lay and Rich could sit back and relax as everything was covered.
As Golden hour approached Lay and Rich wanted some Wedding party fun photos back up by the driveway and swing area. The bridesmaids had come prepared from Sarah’s wedding and all had matching leather jackets for the photos.
